A small pre-Christmas miracle has occurred and my blog status is now current on Technorati. I just did a search for something else and noticed that they not only now have the correct blog name, but have indexed my latest post and updated the incoming links.
Wow! I don’t know what to say. I’m sure the guys I emailed took one look at the updated stats and wondered why I even bothered. But it’s the principle of the thing that matters! (at least to me . . .)

Please bear with me while I work out some customizations to the new theme.
I know some people have said they like the larger type. But I can’t help it, I just feel like the page is shouting at me. (”HEY! WE LIVE IN KOREA! READ THIS BLOG, YEAH?? OKAY!!)
Anyway, have to work out my own issues with that. But, for now, this is the new December look.
ETA: If it’s really bugging you, you can adjust the font appearance and size in your browser. Just click on View > Text Size.

Quick housekeeping note: My blogroll and list of links was rapidly outgrowing my sidebar and limiting the number of blogs or sites I was able to link. So, now I’ve given them their their own page. (Thanks to alucinari for the awesome Wordpress plugin!) You can click the tab at the top of the page (scroll up) or the link over there in the sidebar at right. To give you a good reason to surf on over to the links page, new additions include The TheDaily Kimchi and Seoul Man.
I’ll probably also reorganize them into more specific categories soon (food blogs will get their own little grey block group thingy, for example). But that will have to wait. For now, it’s Sunday, and nap time.

OK. I was just going to post an aside and leave it at that. I even think part of the problem was that my site was failing validation due to some outdated HTML coding in one of the old templates.
But now, their page on my blog says I have not updated in 111 days and that 18 sites link to mine. Right below that, it proceeds to list the 33 sites that link to me, some of them within the last month. What can I do if their own databases don’t talk to each other? Ackety ack ack.
